A backwards step towards vibrancy

I knew our post vibrancy progress was to good to be true. Here we are going back to just bog standard vibrancy. We’re better than this. The release from She-Ra’s lair, “Temporary art enhances the vibrancy of the urban environment in fun, interesting, and interactive ways,” Ms Scaffidi said…”

Yes, but we are post vibrant. A granite plaza baking in the sun unrelieved by shade, bench or other feature. That’s a wink and a nod to our yokel boorish vibrant past, yes. A couple of crossed cocos leaves seasoned with piss, yes.  This…not. Yeah it’s fine, but what part of post vibrant are they not getting here?

Another Margaret River native. Like the southern wolf. Which by the way is no longer TWOP official wine, now the boozie bottle is in town. By NS.

Bus Outrage

More Bayswater Outrages from James N. Is that one of our shitty (but surely heritage) bus stops dumped? I thought it was one of these from 7 plus years ago, but that one is still with us. Barrels leaking in the bg. I don’t think I have a shot of one of these classic stops.

Primed with bargains & Tight lipped

More mid-year news from the paper of record – but I feel there was an error of judgement with today’s edition. When there’s $824.70 off a Chloe bag, shouldn’t it, at first blush, be page three? Or, at a pinch, page five? A Chloe bag! I am downing my sucked pen and heading into the city: I will be the man of the moment at this weekend’s CBBBC in my Ben Sherman puffer jacket! I was so excited the photo came out a bit blurry – sorry!

NOTE: I have added the real news, as seen in The Western Toerag today.TLA

Outrage Sunday 199 forever unclean

Yikes! Spiritual danger on the Fremantle line! I wonder if s/he is mates with Shenton? Anyway, I gave my phone a quick rinse in Napi-San when I got home, let me tell you.

Can Meryl Styants remove the unclean? I reckon she could, and I trust I’ll be holding hands with you next Sunday in the Guildford Town Hall.

Meryl was a top-selling real estate agent before she got the word. There was a stint in Canberra, and then: “God unexpectantly moved us to Perth”. She pioneered, and was forever cleaning. “At our peak we were distributing 100,000 tracts into the City of Perth per year. Many conversions took place on the Streets of Perth”. Have you got problems with your balcony? Is your team not winning a semi-final? Won’t your oven door not fully close? “I have seen the visually impaired receive sight, deaf ears opened, asthma healed, back conditions healed, curvature to the spine healed, frozen shoulders healed etc.”

Union Land

Bento noted that McDonalds has become organised labour friendly all of a sudden. Or is Union Land a display of great 8 Hour days of the past? In any case, the slide is totes being shut down for “safety” reasons.

Wogs in Work

Thought you might like to see how Melbourne does Cocii. First, you need an industrial wasteland of concrete and poisoned earth. Then, cloud up the sky. It is never gauche and relentlessly blue like Perth. THIS is post vibrant.  And also. Do we still have Wogs out of work? If so, why?

Yuk

I’m glad it’s not a bronze of Andrew Forrest or May Gibbs, but is this what we want for public art? Can’t She-Ra stump up for a couple of Fernando Boteros? Are ciggies the new post vibrant? It’s all here. We stole it from Sydney apparently.  By E. T.
