Snuff’s Missing Links 2

Before I let Snuff present his missing links, have a look at this video that they were playing at the gym yesterday. Have music videos reached endgame? Talk about your arse masters.

Arse Master

A one car vibrancy remastering of Subiaco, as seen by Pete F. Maybe Maylands hasn’t won yet! I hope he has somebody covering Saturdays. I assume it’s directed at the parking inspector, although I would hope it is aimed at whoever keeps that fucking Witches Cauldron afloat.park2park1

Beaufort Street 2

I went to have a close look at the Beaufort Stre artwork this afternoon. Although it isn’t finished, unfortunately it is a lot crappier than it first appeared. It’s concrete for a start, and is essentially a concrete wall in front of a car park. I guess Alannah won’t be unveiling a concrete wall. Is the spot better or worse for it being there? Maybe a slight deficit to the community, until concrete cancer lends it a little street cred.

tyred of life

“The man who is tired of Oxford Street in Leedy is tired of life,” no-one said ever. Although I do miss 130. I once saw Basil Zempilas there in a pair of fresh-out-of-the-box white thongs. Here’s another shot from last Saturday night’s boulevarding by the Flangemaster and me (there are more to come!). I wondered at the time if it was Not Worst, but TLA was still muttering angrily after not being able to scale the fence around a viewing platform further back towards the Stirling end. I also had no luck trying to convince him to label Oxford Street as Neasden-in-the-Sun here. muriel

Beaufort Street

Well I guess I have to post this right away. Erecting today. I like that it is exactly in front of where Budgericars was, where I bought my 1970 V8 Valiant. By The Colour H.

Let’s Go Fifo

I genuinely thought that since this was Woodside, it was meant to be urging on Fifo’s to better productivity. I realise now they mean the Cockburn Thunder, who I have an awful feeling are going to win the footy, topping off a very crappy few weeks for Australia. By Bento.fifo

Outrage Sunday 113 Election 2013 In Memoriam

So. Farewell then
Kevin 07 Rudd
You are feeling blue
After covering your hands
In red.
“Programmatic Specificity”
Was your catchphrase:
“Get out”
Is everyone else’s.
Keith’s mum liked you
Until you had
A big tanty
At her school canteen.
Now you can
Spend more time
With your sauce bottle.

Snuff’s Missing Links 1

Have been wanting to do so something different on Saturdays. Snuff has been sending bizarre links for years now. Thought he might like to have a dedicated spot for them. ( although I would have gone with “Snufflinks”). I don’t know if I can face covering the election. Will be too depressing. Might put something up later. I see Lannie V Dalkeith Dunce as the only interesting battle. In any case, welcome to Snuff’s Missing Links. I also was hoping he’ lead with “Listen up youse pigs…”

Hi TLA,

Without further ado …

I’ve been enamoured of engine sound pr0n ever since my uncle dropped a 450 Chev into his Monaro, (as if the stock 327 wasn’t powerful enough), and Chum Taylor, Johnny Fenton, and Alf Barbagallo ruled Friday nights in Claremont; if not before. I’m therefore as surprised as anyone that my next bike will sound like this, passing at 90 and 120 mph, respectively…
Here’s why. All the weight as low and central as possible, and all the power, all the time. No feeling the revs, nor the gears. Just all the power, all the time

And finally for this week, back to YouTube. Billie Jean. You’ll hear and see why >
While I’m here, this is for anyone who’s not averse to a chortle and somehow isn’t already familiar with Natalie Tran
Her early work, albeit endearing, was a bit rough, but I’d say she found her voice around November, 2008. So, I’d recommend starting around there, and then working your way through. You might want to make yourself comfy.
