Vic Demised moved out of his comfort zone (Osborne Park) for a quick trip to the centre of the universe, which wasn’t the forbidden city in Beijing as claimed, but a roadhouse in Lake Clifton, between Mandurah and Bunbury. Thanks Vic.

As I was on my way to take the shot of the half mast debacle on Wanneroo Road the other day, what should I see but this sightseeing bus also going down Wanneroo Rd! On the right ladies and gentlemen, you’ll see Nandos, and an assortment of flags at various stages of masting. Behold Michael Keenan! Also the very rare tv repair place. This is a real treat ladies and gentlemen, because the last person to get their TV repaired rather than throw it away, died in 1983. Almost as embarrassing as that awful tram thingy. What the hell is this bus doing here without blacked out windows?
I was intending to go back to that other worst hotspot Beaufort Street, to celebrate the return to posting of The Beaufort Street Bloggers, but perhaps more relevant is that today is The Worst of Perth stalwart and Osborne Park specialist Vic “Main Street” Demised’s birthday. Happy Birthday Vic. Worst well my friend.

You might remember a few days ago when we questioned why McDonalds had its flags at half mast for fire victims, while Michael Keenan local Federal member was flying his at full pole. Well yesterday, Keenan was half masting, and Maccas was full poling! Will somebody get some flag consistency on Wanneroo road! What’s going on? Think of the fire victims! Regarding flags, I hear that the PM has said that flags will fly at half mast every year on this day to commemorate the fire. Really? Every year? Doesn’t that seem a teensy bit over the top? We’ll run out of days if we keep that up, and everyone will have to be at half mast all the time. It would help McDonalds and Keenan get it right though.
