More scoop pics from New Canaan via Missy Rach. This guy isn’t as poetic as some whitegoods. I trust the wider shop sets that stapler-kisser Bento’s teeth on edge.What is the what? The fire weather is adverse. What is fire weather? But if the fire weather means conditions conducive for fire, doesn’t the adjective mean there’s less chance fire will be helped? I drank deeply while thinking about this. What?? It’s 3.7m long? They’ve also been blessed with having to sleep in a van in Guildford.

The Triffids’ Real Legacy

Further to yesterday’s post looking closely at the legacy of the Tim Winton’s of music, The Triffids. Wikipedia lists their main legacy as the inspiration for the name of a Greek band, and of course Wide Open Road is set to push out Phil Collins’ In The Air Tonight for a spot in the Skyshow stereocast (respect). But it was pointed out that they do have a more lasting legacy, the tree-house in Wisbech Street Bayswater. The locals all boast that the tree-house pictured, (mostly obscured by foliage) was built by the band. Ironically it is in the opposite of a wide open road – a narrow cul-de-sac. I hope this local legend is true. How embarrassing if it had actually been built by The Kryptonics or Love Pump. Property values plummet. No Cocos I notice.
Current owners kindly have taken a photo. Actually looks more like a drinking platform than a treehouse.

Tarantellas
