    Nowhere in Perth does front verges like Cottesloe. There is an entire suburb comprised entirely of front verges just waiting for Sneakers and a new Planning minister to bite the bullet.

    Two entries in the Échappé des Frontières secction of the Prix de Concours of Shit by the Sea .
    Needless to say the judges disqualified them on the grounds they were too small.

    It is true boytique think tank AUDRC of UWA has quite recently proposed availability of all PMA POS to help accommodate all the 3.5 mil people the ABS once said perth is likely to attract , and as imagined by the firm of fini alcock and satterly .

    Evidence based ‘research’ shows such space is rarely ‘used’ at 1300hrs on weekdays and therefore should be cast into the public domain for redevelopment .

    But no , silly ones ! Registered lawns and nature strips are for granny flats and communal ramadas for parked cars / uber stops / child care centres .

    These will both contribute to and benefit from 12-storey mixed use vibrancy induced by residential redevelopment on the main blocks proper , where extravagant 3/1 bungalows now obstructing the progress of globalised urbanisation .

    To say nothing of impeding our having the level of sophistication , curtains unfaded , that is our birthright as whoever we are .

    In the words of the former infractions department set up on temporary signs at lush POS roadside sites all over town : ‘ Anytime , Anywhere ‘ !
