Knobbing Off

Check out Ray Sparvell’s classic “Nothing has happened still and again“, story on the Guildford Hotel. Although it seems the knobbing off ceremony is a little closer. I hope Outrage is on hand. Ta Bento.

As he correctly points out, it demonstrates the level of community interest in the project.

I think WAToday needs to give up though. In breaking news: Subiaco is a wasteland, some guy in dunsborough had a mix up with his thongs, a horse drank some water.

Forcing Karalee Katsambanis to go door to door to outrage people with half-formed idiotic notions?

    • The Guildford knob is in the same spot it was about a month ago, when I exhorted readers to under no circumstances burn it. I repeat that plea. Just because it’s by the side of the road, made of plywood, and easily reachable with a bottle of petrol, doesn’t mean you should do it. Once again people. Don’t burn the knob before it goes up.

Having watched that very nice man from Grand Designs, several times thanks to the continuous series of repeats on the ALPBC where clearly a billion dollars a year only allows for so much original programming, I thought it was actually be a knobbing out ceremony.

Of course one must knob out to knob off so the point is probably moot.

Should you inadvertently miss something on ABCTV you can always catch it later of one of the commercial emissions.
Assuming, of course, that you live that long.
“Pie in the Sky” is currently running on one of the misnamed “free-to-air” commercial stations. I used to enjoy watching it, but I was a lot younger then.

  3. My God, Ray Sparvell better get down there quick. I went past today and there’s still no knob.
In other risible news, Brendan Foster is claiming that, “Journalists are bound by a strict code of ethics.”
