The Glendalough bogan, like an exotic bird, gathers the shiniest scraps from the environment to decorate his nest. Proudly displaying his prized possessions, he simultaneously intimidates other local males with his bounty and attracts the female bogan for the purpose of mating.

Just as well he has security screens.

While the collection of boganabilia is appalling, surely that mortar with cream bricks is teh Worst?

“Live life on the edge” – the bogans’ creed, just before he is launched into someone’s loungroom after failing to take an intersection. Just like Brocky.

I’m impressed that Brocky appears to have autographed his own memorial stubby holder. That’s a fair effort.

When’s Brocky? Was he a cricket gaint or just another wired footy player?

I saw the Northam tweet. If there was more of that guaranteed (in general, not just from TLA) I might even go and look at the twitterverse for myself.

Would love to see the Dept of Immigration and whatever do a crackdown on visa-overstayers. The white ones, rich enough to come here by plane. Would open up plenty of housing in the northern beaches – and wouldn’t that make Northam much more vibrant?

you are referring to actual illegal immigrants. i too, would love to see the same treatment applied to these folk as is applied to the asylum seekers who are legals immigrants.

I met one whose working visa went kaput with the GFC. He was still here, sans visa, and on the dole. WTF? Tertiary educated, English speaking, all first world advantages… Grr. Northam would be too good…

Going by the reflection, this is under a hundred metres from where I live. I’m surprised we’ve seen so little of glendalough on here before, it has so much potential.
