I don’t think it’s warning about gum nuts. I think the “gum nuts” is just their way of referring to groups of people. You know, I’m sure whoever wrote the sign walks into a room with a cheery “how’s it hanging, gum nuts”.

Hmmm…. Well if you really want to take Ridiculous to the next step, then let’s have a little kiosk nearby where you can buy gings and boondies and shoot the living shit outta the black cockies that drop these bloody gumnuts in the first place. But not before we put up a sign warning the cockies that chewing gumnuts (as they have done for millions of years), might bring on a very quick and a very sticky end. Yeah Right.
