Weekend Worstoff 156

Bento sent this where the sticker on the van apparently says “vaginatarian”. You can’t read it, but I put it up so you can snicker at the thought of Bento travelling towards Gosnells Rd.Asp was in Perth on a business trip last week and found Easter eggs still on sale. It’s positive though. He thought Perth was much further behind than just Easter.Dave P (of nigger crabs fame) entitles this “Generations of Dereliction.” Yes, would have made a nice year ten photo assignment. Coolbellup.Natalia Fan#1 took exception to Westpac “hearting” Perth. What’s next, Bankwest lol-ing Perth? And Pete F saw some anti bank and usury bollocks somewhere Subiaco.Worst well.

    • I don’t think you are looking. Saw them at my deli a few minutes ago.

Try Catch Of The Day website Rouei. They had them by the carton a couple of Thursdays back.

ah, thanks! I actually hadn’t thought of sourcing them online. The only problem is If I buy them by the carton I’ll eat them by the carton too…

That was the problem with us buying them too! There were so many I’ve been giving them away.

Funniest thing was yesterday, we gave some to my other half’s 93 year old Nanna who is a chocolate addict. She had it everywhere!! All over her chin, her hands, the table… but she was happy, which was the main thing. We were banned from sending any back to the home with her…

I can answer that one. Where do you live? I live in..wait for it..Kwinana. The delis here stock for a certain type of clientele that don’t crave creme eggs.

Why subsidise students? If we resent condescension, then why should we fund it? If a person flounces around all day everyday, being smug, should we engage them in discussion, on their level? If we get sucked into facile idealism, won’t this require self-censure in the face of ignorance, lowering the tone?

There’s a lot of examples of that last pic near the Glendalough train station.

Turnips back, after a bout of bronchitis (thus befuddling my mind)…the burnt-out, rusting shell of that car, in case you are wondering, is that of a VK Commodore (1984-85 model), which I can forensically identify from its rear quarter flank which doesn’t have the built-in aero foil of the VL, but has a lack of curved sheetmetal that would’ve been concealed by that model’s plastic bumpers that the VB/C/H did not have.

Otherwise, some fine Worsting going on…though it’d be a brave soul who’d dine at the Y heading along the Southeast urban corridor: when I used to commute daily down that selfsame stretch of the Tonkin to work in Gosnells, let’s just say I was not once at all enamoured of my prospects with those of the opposite gender in these parts and that Mrs Palmer would always be preferable than to fancy me chances with some of the scrags that parade along their avenues, given that I value my status of having and maintaining a clean bill of health.
