Micturating Man

Rongly saw this extraordinary wall piece in Karrinyup. At first I thought it was a tribute to metrosexual man. The pink house is nice too.

Wow. Where is this? I was going to ask whether the drawing is proportional until I noticed that it does indeed conform to the dimensions of the circle and square. So many questions.

… and so little time, NF1. This is several houses north of Karrinyup Primary, quite a wealthy area, not teh sort of area one ewould expect to find a Dan-Brown-wannabe. Am tempted to send this to Opus Dei.

Vitruvius has much to answer for. Send to the Knights of Malta instead.

What’s truly incredible, though, is if we consider the bird’s eye view. There are Westfields located at Karrinyup, Whitfords and Osborne Park. If we draw a connecting line between each, a long, unbalanced triangle can be observed. But what’s this? The distance between Karrinyup and Whitfords is exactly half the distance between Karrinyup and Osborne Park. Now if we take that distance as the radius of a circle AROUND Osborne Park, we see that the circumference of that circle acts as a sort of ‘mirror’ to another, adjacent circle of the same size, at the centre of which lies the Centro Galleria! Navigating along a line between Whitfords and Morley, we can see that we have a line of exact 4:6 proportions in relation to the line between Whitfords, Karrinyup and Osborne Park. A pattern is emerging; a five-pointed star. In ancient times, sailors and seamen would navigate by the Pole Star and Venus, Light of the Morning; and here, as if by the hand of fate itself, we have Carousel and Garden City operating as tangential anchors to the nexus of commerce. It is as if the Magdalene herself had a metropolitan development consultancy.

Apart from having garnered 12 response to my “Is pizza gay?” question on soulpancake.com, I have also just slipped in a mention of Alsation Rampant.
