A chance to get a few of the dozens of cars off the books. First Lukey. Apallingly ill judged though expensive graphic. Gives the impression that there is some major engine problem to produce all that smoke. Big end? And lion? If you go to that much trouble, surely some kind of scantily clad Genie would be the traditional way to go? Looks like the ute is farting out some kind of smoky lion of pollution. This lion is not helping wit greenhouse.

Is a tune up required?
And an excellent find from NoOgsTaR. Perth’s most crappy looking Limo. As we comedians might say, “What’s the deal with the spoiler?” AND the yellow sticker?

Love the spoiler

Yellow sticker
And why put a picture of a beer bottle on a rust bucket? No,actually, why not? As you were.

Maybe it’s a faux-hawk limo?
What is it with blokes (mostly) and cars?

There are so many things right with that limo.
The towball for towing a wedding carriage. No horses needed.
The windscreen reflector to keep the driver cool while he waits for the bridal party.
The roof extension and forward facing sunroof for the bridal party to get their jiggy on when travelling to the wedding.
And the rear sunshade and peeling tint to keep everyone cool inside.

The “Limo”, was originally one of the first of 4 Maxi Taxis for people in Disabilites to be introduced in the 80’s to cover the entire metro area. And though I nver used one, they were a bugger to get into as well.

It appears to have fallen on hard times Frank.

Nah, Taxis are put off the road after doing x amount of Kilometres or are older than 5 years.
Then again, the original cabs were Falcons, and not Commodres like that one, but it does look like one, maybe it is a private vehicle for someone with a disabilty who didn’t want to spend big on modifying a Hi-Ace Van.

Ok revheads, what year is it, so I I can narrow it down, as on closer inspection it does indeed lok like the second generation of maxi taxis before the widespread use of vans.

Speaking of the Falcon “Flashcab”, this is the pic.

That might be a useful application for the extended chassis Holden utes that they are having difficulty finding a market for.
Would it be any worse than being swung about in the arse end of a Commuter van?

Maybe, but cabbies like Van because they can take 12 “normal” passengers, mainly groups and drunk bogans, when not doing wheelchair jobs, but then again, they prefer to take drunk bogans rather than wheelchair jobs like they’re supposed to do – try booking a wheelchair taxi on a Friday Night, apparebn;tly drivers are “exempt” from doing those jobs, if they’ve already done 100 wheelchair jobs during the week.
Lannie tried to get more maxi cabs on the road, but the Taxi Council kicked up a stink etc.

If cars are extensions of (mostly) men’s… err… personalities, I think Lukey wants to lie down with a Ms Lamb. Or maybe just wants to eat the Holden logo?
LA, you’ll note that old erection angle raising its ugly head again on the rustbucket Ford. What is that driver saying? My dick’s made of beer?

@13,- just a matter of orientation and it becomes perfectly clear – the Ford guy is facing the back of the vehicle.
