He’s back.
Selfie. (Companion short film to SLR. Snuff’s Missing Links 19 ~ I like to watch.)
What’s the story, morning glory ?
Here’s the backstory, for anyone who’s not familiar with it.
Well, is it ?
I’m the intern . . . um, who are you ?
Jack Marx must have pissed Rupert off. Although his excellent work for Fairfax in 2006 and 2007 remain …
… his later work for News has disappeared. Fortunately, this relic of his SMR article remains …
Here’s the article for which he won a Walkley in 2006, just in case anyone missed it.
Much food for thought here Snuff thanks again.

Two items :before you buy your Macca’s mansion in the Western suburbs consider an art deco building in Mumbai.
Marx vs Rusty ( not Woolfie),it is good to see two top players at the height of their form.I’d give the win to Rusty ( not Woolfie) on points. Pity about the death threat at the end , however Rusty ( not Woolfie) has anger management problems and is likely to tip the chess board over even though he’s winning. Marx vs Rusty ( not Woolfie) is a uselful trope in understanding Troygate, Crashgate, Pissygate Cargate, Doolallygate or GateGate if you prefer. Just add more A-Listers and alcohol.

Definitely Gategate.
The story I want to read is the one about why, without a single word of explanation from either party, as far as I know, virtually all trace of Marx’s work for News has been expunged. I can only assume there’s a confidentiality clause involved, so we’ll probably never get to.

Nothing to do with Rupert it appears, he is just sick of his and others’ opinions.

I understood that hiatus in 2009. What strikes me as odd is that even when you can find an archive of his later work for News, all of the links redirect to their homepage, unlike related former News blogs such as The Punch, which are still accessible.
