If you are a bit down on Perth I always find a trip to Adelaide helps. It’s not quite the same since you don’t have to walk across the tarmac at the airport any more though.

I hate it when you go to Adelaide and they say your barrel check in is 2pm, but you find it hasn’t been cleaned and they don’t hammer the lid down until 3:30.
