Clubhouse thingy for oval, where they play lacrosse and do archery, unfortunately not at same time. It used to be sponsored by Steel Blue. Some product using a blue heeler. Not sure exactly what. Boots maybe.

The local scuttlebutt has it that there’s no love lost between the archers and lacrosse players, with both sides blaming each other for poor ground conditions. The opportunity to exercise their sports simultaneously would more than likely be welcomed by both sides. With all the mud it’d be like Crécy.

well the archers piss me off because they get there early and take the parking spots. why can’t old people just sleep in?

I don’t think they did, until the lacrosse players started accusing them of churning it up with their hails of bowfire. Now it’s a continuous and much chewed over bone of contention.

I always get a little thrill driving past there, hoping maybe this time I’ll get to see a passer-by (not me) archered into the hereafter. Similar when driving past Hillview Golf Course.
