I was going to post today but haven’t taken any good Worsts will be too busy. There’s a lot on today and my deadlines are mounting. I have to knock out 500 words on new envelope styles so that’s a quick AM trip to Officeworks Midland. Then it’s over to Applecross before the derby to interview some bloke who has a big collection of player cards. Before the big game I have to be at Langley Park for an event. The boss also wants a feature on inappropriate parking in Nollamara: how am I going to fit that in? How would you you write something like that anyway? Sheesh. May as well ask for something on people falling asleep in Shenton Park phone boxes. I told the boss this, and he said: “Personal columnists are jackals and no jackal has been known to live on grass once he had learned about meat – no matter who killed the meat for him.” WTF?
