San Simeon

When Charles Foster Kane died, he said just one word -…Rosebud, just that one word, but who is she…What was it?… Now what does that mean?…A racehorse he bet on once…Yeah, that didn’t come in…All right, but what was the race? Citizen Kane

Curious sent this fine worst, the upper part of a stone San Simeon rising from a Rose garden. I’ve always thought that Gloucester Park must be ball deep in worst, but have never been inside the place. In any case, I was born a Pure Steel man. This is a horrible sculpture.

that horse looks like he is either cussing at someone or about to vomit. probably just a reflection of his enviroment.

Surely you got a shot of the back end.

It reminds me of that scene from “The Godfather”, just in this case it represents a much larger portion.

Knowing that those obviously thriving roses are in a deep bed of horseshit, what of the horse emerging from it?

well, yes, that’s what i found disturbing – it appears to be growing.

and no, no back end shot, it has no back end, it’s still growing underground. lord knows what will emerge…
