I fear, however, that they are TOO LIBERAL. THE PubliC demands a government that will bring back public floggings. For, you know, whateve

if Barnett becomes dependant on Bowler’s vote, and Bowler is in Burke’s pocket, doesn’t that make a mockery of all the crap the Libs have been spouting about his influence?

Frank – what’s the gossip on the choice of Ripper from the party room?

there is nothing in the ‘news’, except that it was unanimous – didn’t Lannie nominate? did Michelle Roberts and the Right nobble her before she could stand?

and Cook? the only thing I know about him is that he is not McGowan, which is a considerable talent.

much as I like Ripper, he can surely only be considered to be keeping the chair warm until closer to the next election.

and in passing, I note that Rudd gave Turnbull exactly five minutes in the job before inviting him to join a bipartisan push for the Republic.

nice wedge. I am betting there are a few Libs saying: “oh crap, I forgot about that.”

Bad choice IMHO, but poor old Lannie didn’t have the numbers so she didn’t nominate.

But the bigger picture is The West sharpening their claws at the Nats and are ready to pounce if any of the City projects are scuttled to appease the cockies. They will make sure the Nats pay out BIG time.
