Outrage Sunday 266 Doorknocking

Only 109 days to go! This “passionate defender of the family unit” paused under teh Pert’s signature foliage in between ringing bells. Across the road, someone not related to Tim Winton is running for the reds. Great West Australians all! img_4855img_3631

  1. Never have I read such a paen to any place as Norberger’s maiden to Joondie. It makes you want to break out in song or poesy for the place. or maybe not.

Wasn’t it O’Slatter Corp, or one of its subsidiaries, that did those 1990s TV ads about Joondalup going “up-up-up”?

Off the top of my head it went something like this
        “Oh Joondie Oh Joondielup ,
        your towers , your spires,
I dream of hospitals , hubs , railways, education
        of industry
        the vibrancy , the vibrancy
        It’ll never leave you,
        50 square kilometres of paradise,
        milllinty million dollars
        Craigie, Beldon, Heathridge, Edgewater, Connolly,
        I’ve been everywhere man.”

Without having looked, I’m going to guess that Mr Nordberger is an earnest SAffer? It always feels to me that this drive to be involved in public life is an expression of sucking up to teacher.
