Outrage Sunday 246 great things

I want to do great things: I really do.
Such as eating the right food: understand?
And I don’t want the bad things to get through.
I hate the random; I prefer the planned.
Why say sorry for wanting to be great?
Sometimes the small things just get in our way.
Why torture ourselves over a shut gate?
Remember when we were carefree and gay?
How are we to fill the days of our lives?
What will we put into our agenda?
Whistle for the dog, and sharpen the knives:
To the ingrate things, we won’t surrender.
I say: don’t let me be misunderstood:
Soar like an eagle! Swoop on prey! Life’s good!IMG_3814

Would this be the same simpkins australian sniper who wears his service and long service medal with the karen but no timor medals even though his period of employment coincided with those deployments? Surely his parliamentary bio would boast of such a proud record? Maybe he had a cold and couldn’t go. Or just cold feet.
