It was crackpot central down at Forrest a Place last weekend. Anti Fracking, anti sharking, anti everything apparently. It may have been pro marmalade. I’m not sure. I shook this dude’s fin, so I think we’re copacetic. As live oaks yes, but copacetic nonetheless.

Sea Shepherd people hijacked the cultural centre plaza several weeks ago. Apart from the informative, money-grabbing stalls, there were plenty of punters reclining in bean bags to watch whale videos on the big screen outside PICA. I’d have taken some photos except that I’m trying to be less cynical these days. Good for my health, or so my GP says.

Barnett could get rid of the sharks for free if he brought a few Rotenese sharkboats down from Ashmore. Or let some of them outta jail here and let them do what comes naturally. They kill the sharks, sell the fin, Barnett gets to say he stopped the people smugglers by providing trad fishers with alternative incomes. And it doesn’t cost the taxpayer a cent.
