The Tom Mangold book is a cracker, turns out the Aussies were very effective tunnel rats.
Turns out the US preferred taking the tunnels out from 30000ft

It didn’t work. Massive B52 bomb craters a few yards away left tunnels intact. Still can see bamboo filed craters.
