Here’s one from Stonehouse Crescent in Bentley. (Just a few steps from the Boogie Nights place). I love it all. The bricks, the round window, the yellow “bottle glass” which was very common in Perth homes, including my own, all set off with the cactus, the Mexican, the lamp and the Cocos Palms, (including a dead one). If I was overseas, this would make me homesick. Since I’m here though, just a little heartburn. Bunning Park, Bentley.

Are those terracotta pipe things in the walls just under the roof bird nests? Spy holes? Primitive telecommunication system?

Just rummaging through Worst Houses after the Kardy Kastle: I know this one. My Aunty lives next door! Hers has a blue tile roof, stonework feature wall and chocolate brick undercroft garage, all the dizzying heights of late 1960s architecture. A bit more restrained than The Mexican, but still hinting at wonderful wogginess!
