Does it have a pneumatic closer on the inside to stop the boot lid slamming?

The boot obviously needed securing, but how? Sticky tape? Glue? Rope? Don’t be so uncooth. This operator has really stepped it up a notch here with the drilling into the car body and the application of brass latch. Street cred must be through the roof. Transition from the mineral dependancy to innovation and design is almost complete. There may even be a cocoon inside.

    Those sodding gas struts.
Kiddies messing with the release lever inside making the contents of the boot available to any petty thief passing by.
