I’ve noticed more than a few mattresses on the verges in Highgate, with, how shall I put it….high milage on the clock.
When the police were having a crackdown on kerb crawlers I was pulled over a by them number of times.
“We keep seeing you in the area mate” said one (obviously high IQ police officer).
“Doing a spot of curb crawling by the looks of it” he ventured further…
“Yeah, I live in the fuckin area” I doth inform him.
“Oh, er, yeah your right” he replied after checking my I’d.
“Did you manage to find that out by yourself or did you have a couple of performing monkies to help you out Einstein” I asked.
He wasn’t amused and told me to “move along”.
