I complained to Perth council that their (also lame) painted artwork on the Cultural Centre paving was dangerous when wet. Looks like they are grinding it off as a result. I can’t help feeling I’m fighting a losing battle against our bad public art though.

How many “good” pieces are there in the entire city. Half a dozen? I don’t mind the stone striped bits nearby.

very few. but i particularly loathe this as it is so completely out of context in what is essentially a brutalist plaza.

The bollocks written on the steps is particularly galling, although perhaps not as lethally slippery when wet.
