Wonderful Naval Base work by Reign of Error. (Wasn’t this Pete F’s ground?) The burnt out bar of the Naval Base Hotel with hideous glasswork. You don’t get more TWOP than this. Brutal. Truly brutal. I feel we can put this up against any of your Manhattes burntout bars, BSWAM. Only missing a relentless blue sky. Love the Perthian Salmon brick. Wait, is that…pampas? Sadly neglected shitty plant. I remember there used to be the odour of a tannery and abattoir seasoning this patch. Still there Reign of? 
The Worst of Perth 
Tannery stench?……no, unfortunately. But one of the myriad smoke stacks did appear to be belching mustard gas into the atmosphere if that counts.

The dual double door entries, both leading to the public bar (is the lounge bar situated at the rear?) indicate that at some stage this eastablishment shifted huge amounts of Swan and Emu. Or perhaps that was just the “vision”?
