Outrage Sunday 151 Ode to an Airport Trolley in the Carpark

Here,
among the businesslike grass,
this trundler
from the interminable
carpet,
a welcome
that wobbled,
now
guttered in front of me
dead.

Confounded
by the Belmont dross
– these taxis,
budget of dew –
only you
rolled through
the duty free, imbibed
the undeclared, the
uncollected
wiredness, the dregs
of the C&D,
the grey
Ibis,
les ibis pee,
only you:
tarnished
fuck-sticked
worstness
of that cheapest site…

Yeee Haaahh!! “Hey Josh, there’s one trolley broken away, and it’s making a sprint for the Ranges!!”
“Let it go, we’ll never find it up there. Them Ranges hold a handful of breakaway wild trolleys, you cain’t get near ’em! They’re feral!! We’ll just have to tell the Boss we lost one, and there was no way any of us was gonna chase it up!! It just ain’t worth our lives to go after them rogue trolleys!! You never know whut they’ll do, they can turn on ya in an instant!!”
