I see that both of Basil ‘Baz’ Zempilas’ co-hosts on his failing radio show have quit, like rats from a sinking ship. The seventh highest rating breakfast show in Perth – who knew there were seven?
Baz is described as a ‘popular media personality’, clearly a bit creative with the definition of ‘popular’.
although when I look at at Nielsen, Baz still gets a bigger audience share than Nurry does on his mid-morning show. He can only manage eighth in his time slot.
Perhaps they should team up. Baz and Nurry: as welcome at your breakfast table as salmonella.

I think “talent” is being used in the generic sense. Fortunately Baz is now an integral part of Channel 7’s football B Team brains trust that add so much enjoyment to the indigenous game.

You have to read between the lines. By “popular” they mean “irritating” and by “personality” they mean “fuckwit”. Once translated, “irritating media fuckwit Basil Zempilas” is entirely accurate.
