For some reason I thought Cockburnians (nee Fremantonians) would be against wind farms. Aren’t they linked to county bumpkins soiling themselves ? Or having dark thoughts? Is there any Cockburn activity not centred on the fairly unimpressive Clancys? Fremantle is turning from face palming to eye rolling mode – ie, we have reached endgame. By Pete F.

Lacking in pretentiousness, good outdoor spot for kids to run around, cozy inside on a wet day, decent food for a pub, decent wine and beer list last time I was there. Fun venue to watch footy. Some good gigs from time to time. What more could you want? Mojitos aside.

It will be a blatant theft of the Cockburn Doctor sea breeze. These towers will take the energy from the sea breeze to turn into electricity to run the airconditioners that will need to be on because the sea breeze won’t be cooling anymore. Has the world gone crazy?
