Will this wind?

For some reason I thought Cockburnians (nee Fremantonians) would be against wind farms. Aren’t they linked to county bumpkins soiling themselves ? Or having dark thoughts? Is there any Cockburn activity not centred on the fairly unimpressive Clancys? Fremantle is turning from face palming to eye rolling mode – ie, we have reached endgame. By Pete F.

Im a fan of wind power and Clancy’s Freo, but I’d definitely slot this under worst graphic design

With no scenic beauty left to degrade, the Freo aesthetic would be much improved by the erection of a forest of these graceful structures.

I was most outraged by the Pozible in the top left – crowd funding your (future) protest work? There isn’t enough information in the public realm on alternative power?

They’ve got everything in place except for a willing landowner? I see. Perhaps I should start a Pozible to build my house of gold on the moon.

I’d be tempted to attend, in order to protest at wind farms and harmonic vibrations, chemtrails etc.

Having now looked through the site, the absence of any approvals for the project might be a bit of a hurdle, long before community awareness.

WA dragging the chain again. Are we to be compared with Tasmania?

‘More than two-thirds of Australian wind farms including more than half of those with large turbines have never received a single complaint. Two whole states – Western Australia and Tasmania – have seen no complaints.’

I say get along to this event and raise our standing amongst the federation.
