I went back to Bassendean to try again to take a shot of a Rolf Harris burger, only to find that not only was the burger gone, but the whole shop. Another casualty in the Jimmy Savile scandal. Old Perth Road in Basso has more closed shops than Beaufort Street – and the ones that are open are Salvos, Vinnies and similar. At least an exciting shop will be happening where Rolf burgers once roamed.
