Festiva!

Just comparing and contrasting the edge of rurotardia fare from this morning, (ie bong and chips) with the free food and piss we were given at the Festival of Perth opening last night. Was it really so different?
1) Watershed red wine.
2) Sushi
3) A kind of jam.
4) Gourmet steak pie.
5) Lima beans
6) Asparagus
7) Sort of quiche thing
8)Annoyingly small olives.

Truly a dog’s dinner fit for festival dogs that are acustomed to the contents at the bottom of a toilet pan

Not that I’ve ever been known to turn down anything if its free, umm the Watershed Wine looks inviting

  4. Can I get two wines at a time? “Of course you can.”

A couple of years ago I went to the Institution of Engineers annual awards dinner. Posh frocks and black ties. For the pre dinner speeches we were given a classy little box, upon opening which one discovered a party pie, sausage roll and squirty sauce sachet. All class those engineers.

What’s with mini olives? All those retired doctors conning a way into selling poor stock from their investment olive groves?
