Guilt Edged

Thus spake Travis Lindstrom via the mouthpiece of Dave P. There can be no expiation from such guilts as teen hangout, sauna and putting green. Take this mother to the Hague, or even Teh Hague if necessary.

I think most teenagers are two-story. The story they tell their parents; and the story they admit when the cops show up.

I think the guilt would be from buying someone’s dream home complete with putting green in a ‘forced sale’.

  5. Trisha says:

    Guilt edged…perhaps a Freudian slip!

  6. Bag O'Turnips says:

Talking of guilt-edged property, today upon entering that cesspool of humanity, the Morley Gonorrhoea, in that section where all those temporary sales stands live, shilling their spurious wares whilst trying to walk past that unavoidable bottleneck without being accosted by them, was a stand promoting investment in forced-sale homes in the USA.

I know Aussies are notoriously gullible when it comes to property investment, but geez, isn’t that part of the reason that these repossessed homes have come to be, with oversubscription into the rental housing market, as well as the septic borrowing standards that permitted NINJAs (no income, no job or assets) to take out usurious loans on McMansions on the fringes of suburban sprawls?

Where’s the conscience or brains for that matter in these hacks who spruik and purchase into these schemes? Isn’t it like buying shares in the White Star Line just after the RMS Titanic sank?

This video ought to be compulsory viewing for those who think it’s a great idea to buy a home in the US for rock-bottom prices…very dystopian, the outcome of all this property speculation nonsense. When (rather than a remote “if”) this bubble pricks in Perth, Darch would be a scene of a “trash out” like this one seen in Riverside, California, east well inland of Los Angeles.
