       Not so fast! I saw a ute (when driving out to the badlands of Joondalup, near where a good mate of mine lives) with a see-through transfer plastered upon the rear window for IGA Landsdale and, wait for it…DARCH! Must’ve been the proprietor; I would wish that they’d take on an advocate role in their community (aren’t IGA all about “community”, after all?) for a push to change the misfortunate moniker of that suburb.

       I have a grainy photo taken from my phone, but if I can get a better view, I’ll send it to you TLA for your consideration.

     Yep, gotta love this one. Goes to the trouble of writing a complete sentence and punctuates it properly. Not to condone graffiti, but I hardly find this racist as The Legend 101 seems to be claiming indignantly in these comments (perhaps it’s distasteful, but isn’t most graffiti that’s worth reading?). The word in question is clearly used as a slang salutation to all and sundry and not as an epithet in this case–obvious to most people I would think, but it’s worth pointing out to the clueless.

     (I realize I’m commenting a few years late, but I’m working my way through the archives till I get to the present day and I just can’t help dropping a few comments on the odd post here and there.)
