I love how the poster for the Johnny Cash tribute, Ring of Fire at The Astor has the Man in Black’s arse literally on fire. I assume Daniel Thompson (Australia’s own Man in Black) puked his fiery ring when he saw the poster, as the ring fire has descended to ankle level by the time it gets online.

It’s refreshing that The Astor hasn’t been subject to the hideous practise of corporate naming; Separovic Injury Lawyers Astor Theatre just wouldn’t be right. Less refreshing is that Tony Hadley has got a gig there.
