crash carnage

Struth Ruth! Hundreds dead in first 38 days of the year! I know Teh Pert drivers have trouble with merging, but this WAToady head was alarming…until I clicked and read this: “Western Australia’s road deaths in the first 37 days of the year have equalled the number in the same period in 2011 and 2012 combined.” Why don’t we have a living room toll as well?

The roads are dangerous because everyone is too busy looking at the chemtrails.

And, now I’ve had a think, wouldn’t double the road tolls of last year and 2011 mean it was quadruple the amount? Or should I stick to gerbalism?

For greater impact, why not compare figures with 1952 + 1953 tolls. Don’tcha just love statistics.

Journalists have never been very good with numbers.Another car torn in two and police say “Speed may have been a factor”. Expect the fine for doing 55kph in a 50kph zone to be increased any time soon.

Loving the Laura Norder election poker game – bid 500 coppers. See your 500 coppers and raise you 30 CCTV cameras. See your CCTV cameras and raise you 7 1/2 years mandatory sentencing. See your mandatory sentencing and raise you … flogging with cat-o-nine tails? I feel safer already, except in my lounge room on Friday and Saturday nights.
