Weekend Worstoff 223

I’m too busy for full weekend worstoff today. Be satisfied with Bento’s Seniors Month mouth watering menu from The Hyde Park Hotel. Wait! Tempura? Didn’t seniors give their lives to stop tempura croassing the Owen Stanley’s?

That’s brilliant, pretty much anyone who remembers the 20c pool days is a senior by now.

I hope they mush the silverside up so I don’t have to chew it.

That should confuse the silly old buggers.

If somebody could explain it to me that would be great. No hurry – any time in the next 20 years or so will be fine.

  4. This’ll get them moving their Baravans. Problem : they’ll spend 2 hours mulling over the errors in the menu. Score : 15.0. out of 100.
    Example of croassing :

“Far Canal” appeared on some copies of the aviation charts for the South West of Australia w-a-a-a-y-y-y back in the ’70s.
Still, weak puns like that remain popular amongst the intellectually immature in perpetuity.

Some, maybe, but not as big a percentage as in the younger set for whom “Grammar” is a senior female relative, and arithmetic is wholly incomprehensible.
