The Duck Toucher shows how dumb they are on minesites. Everybody knows you have got to use underlining, different fonts and a more annoying tone when writing these signs. Isn’t use of the pie warmer a privilege? WELL IS IT or NOT? Maybe I should run a course, “Writing for laminate.” or “Lamination for dummies.”

    That ‘Step in…’ banner puts me in mind of the ‘Step in Time’ number from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, I can only assume something marvelous must be happening behind that roller door… or something exceedingly dodgy.

        Apart from various potins concerning fetishisation, etc., which I completely agree with, here’s the rub: a big multinational like Penguin promoting a line of books tapping in not only to fake nostalgia but the whole books for the people schtick as well (see back cover blurb, above promo video, pricing, Facebook page, etc). The fact is that the people have gone for it like starved dogs at sausages.
