Prepare to meet your hair #2

I’m going to turn a few of the Saturday Weekend Worstoff posts over to Reg Mifflin’s Red Parrot, Wizbah & Meccanos shots from the early 1980s. These are unlabelled, so guilty parties may wish to identify themselves or others. Reg asks that anyone who is does not wish their photo to be displayed to contact the site and it will be removed I’m trying slideshow and gallery.

Reg has done very well to unearth this time capsule from 30 years ago. It’s great to see the familiar faces of those who now span the globe; some who’ve gone on to greater heights, some who are a little worse for wear and tear, and some who weren’t lucky enough to still be with us. Those who were there know what a seminal era it was for so many. Wonderful shot of Paul Cummings (Elroy Flicker) in his prime, with Neil Wedd, in his hat.

speaking of eighties throwbacks, Mrs Skink went to Duran Duran at Sandalford last night and had her gourmet picnic basket frisked, her quince confit manhandled, and her metal cheese knife confiscated. Apparently knife crime is rife in the wineries of the Swan Valley.

how is one supposed to serve the brie properly with a plastic butter knife? The terrorists have won
