Perth Wurst

Method6155 found the site of the original “Perth Wurst”, where top quality meats were once cooked up. Sadly derelict, and no doubt ready to join the ranks of vanished wursts soon. The La Porchetta VW worstworthy in itself.

  3. WAtching says:

Where is this? I thought that Bedford was the home of Perths best Wurst.

  4. Bento says:

I’m astounded this took 3 years to appear. Magnificent.

  5. cobbler says:

Does eating Wurst turn you into a Brat?

  6. Bill O'Slatter says:

Now why isn’t this heritage listed . Well it would then be burnt down for starters.
We should do a whip around at the TWOP pissup to restart the plant. The rurotards could supply the meat : road kill , roos , protected flaura and fauna, “escaped” koalas from Kahunas.
On the subject of where the best Wurst is :
    Outrage ! They’ve confused Victoria and W.A.

In getting permission to take the photos I was asked not to share the location. Going back this weekend to get some happy snaps from inside… one can only imagine whats there! Canning Vale or Willetton perhaps?!

    • I saw a company (I think Willettton) called Westphalia. Dudes, don’t talk yourself down!

      • Rolly says:

The district in Germany where the original proprietors came from.

        • I know that, but doesn’t excuse starting a business that sounds like West failure.

          • Rolly says:

            But. But. But.
Business failure is one of the most outstanding features of the Perth commercial culture.

          • Bag O'Turnips says:

Actually, Westphalia Smallgoods shop is in Cannington, up the street from my employer’s head office.

Despite my vegetarianism, I can objectively say that for being a delicatessen in the German sense, this is no failure; plenty of wursts, thus Westphalia is Not Worst.

As for that sausage factory, given that it is clearly no longer accepting tertiary cuts of meat (use your imaginations about maximum utility folks), that is clearly a West Failure.

  9. Bag O'Turnips says:

I’ve noticed on the roof of the Dak-dak that is the conveyance of the now erstwhile La Porchetta in Morley, now vanished and turned into another Siena’s.

Good riddance to shit Italian eateries: no better than the unlamented Pasta King at Dog Swamp, a place whose alleged food made Lean Cuisine look mildly edible. Mind you, Siena’s is not much of an improvement, exporting their style of cooking from the Arrondissement part of Route 53 to the boonies end just after the turnoff continuing as Route 53.

Its not going to appear theres trees there and it will appear when the trees get cut down.
