Brewers’ Droop

I was hoping the Cottesloe knob, icon of generations of concrete fanciers would fall over while I was there, but it keeps hanging on. It’s only layers of paint celebrating loca footy wins that keeps it going. There must be some internet cream that would help.

    Here we see the pier under construction in 1906, then in all its glory in 1907, and 1920.

    Speaking of Brewers, what I wouldn’t give to have imbibed at the OBH on its opening day, shown here in 1908.

    The beach in front of my holiday unit is no dogs but people dont follow it you see dogs there heaps i remember once a lady came striding along with 4 Pit Bulls vicious and bad hey.
