Brownian Motion

There have been a couple of comments on Bentley’s Brownlie Towers, built in 1969. I went up to see how the extensive renovations are going. Mixed results by the look of it. It’s not just the building that needs work. I wish I’d taken a shot before the scaffolding went up.

The scaffolding is definitely an improvement. Too bad it couldn’t cover the carpark as well.

I used to go past this place on the bus several times a week and it filled me with a sense of despair so deep and abiding that it took a liberal dose of sugar and kittens to remove.

Seriously though, it looks like the kind of place a down-on-his-luck fictional character goes to kill himself in.
