State of Excitement

Here was I complaining about the design of some of the new numberplates, totally forgetting the worst of them all, the infamous “WA State of Excitement” classic. Bolt them on to a Datsun 120Y, and you couldn’t claim that Perth doesn’t do irony well. Oh, and if anyone sees a WA Home of The Americas Cup parked somewhere, tell me the street.

    i wonder if being in a state of excitement and not knowing what to do with the energy explains a few of the worst postings here? i also wonder if shock was considered a viable alternative to excitement..

    Ahhhhhh the 120Y!! It was the elevator music of Motoring in the 80’s.

      I owned a 120Y in the early ’90s.
      T’was a joy to drive — until they increased the speed limit on the freeway.
      Or if it was a hot day.
      Or if you wanted to listen to JJJ.

      Hell, if it wasn’t for that car I might not have discovered the wonders of the AM band.
