I used to go there all the time in the 90s. I can’t believe it closed down. Although in a strange part of the world there was a 3 cinema complex and a food hall that was busy at least on Fri, Sat, Sun nights. The Red Rooster was a tack on in the car park

i have to say, the recent trend by the Midland Redevelopment Authority of using the ‘Derelict’ school of architecture is fitting in nicely with the existing townscape

I watched star wars episode 1 with my dad at that cinema shortly after it opened when I was a wee lad.
Shit complex but at least it gave me memories… of a terrible prequel… and the worst food in the southern hemisphere (at chicken treat after). Sigh..
