Who among us could resist five slides for five bucks?
I thrashed the young Avon Valley Gazette reporter five out of five.
I’d had too much sugar and was OUT OF CONTROL.
It was an ace event: showbags, hot chips, the police pipe band, woodchopping and the Royal Agricultural Society president bought me scones with jam and cream.
I even got a free Main Roads pen, ruler and cap.
And you could smoke anywhere.
I’ll be there next year.
