Outrage Sunday 114 The Bunker off the Bumpkobahn

Apologies for the late OS. Krazy Kym and I soaking in rural vibrancy. We’re soaking in it! Much from Nannup to share later in the week, including the trophies hanging from the verandah of Shazza’s Blackwood River hideaway! But for now here’s a delightful home west of the Bumpkobahn, just out of the Mandurah blast zone. Why isn’t it a B&B?

Inflate a large neoprene bladder, then pour concrete over it.
There used to be one North of town too, but I forget where.

Possibly occupied by retired hippes, doomsday survivalists or banjo-playing types who like to invite unsuspecting visitors to squeal like a pig. Or perhaps all of the above.

You may be less than surprised to know that these have been attempting some kind of a comeback, particularly during the last dregs of the recent bbom (sic) in demand for IL4 mining huts. Without wanting to sound like Rolly, there really is little new under the sun.

PS, I’m sure snuff could easily link us to some of those full ellipse homes that were the answer to the future not coming soon enough in the 70’s.

“Without wanting to sound like Rolly,…….”

Inverted snobbery raises its ugly head. Again.
