        Ok to like it while we can .

        Lets really like the snarled traffic in Thomas Street ever since EQ shipping container bar site development cut the foreshore drive too .

        Gives a nice urban feel to the rest of formerly dullsville

          Undoubtedly. But it’s still been very popular, considering there’s fuck all there. It just seems so boringly easy to moan about it. Why should I give a shit that Thomas Street is busy because we removed the highway from the river front?

            Ok heres why bento you should give a shit :

            Thomas street has become so incredibly popular with thousands of idling motorists being kept on a 2x daily basis 30 minutes or more between 2 traffic signals listening to music inhaling hydrocarbons and raging at each other instead of spending that time home with family friends community .

            Meanwhile kids get poisoned by water at a throwaway urban design p r feature popular with microorganisms…

            Jaded sybarites get designer tapas n beers served from popular shipping containers set up in a new place or at fun fairs they might find deliciously and popularly temporary …

            City of perth either does or doesnt get tax revenues from future popular waterfront real estate development once highrise residential popular with o/s and interstate people gets put up and highrise office popular with no one except at expense of existing crappy office oversupply elsewhere in
            CBD …

            If this isnt enough , more to come

              1. You fix Thomas Street by getting people out of their cars, not making it faster. One part of bringing that behavioral change is making it a less attractive option.
              2. The water problem was one of implementation and oversight. Nothing fundamentally flawed about the concept. My kids fucking LOVE the water playground in Forrest Place.
              3. What’s wring with that? They’re having the wrong kind of fun?
              4. What the fuck are you talking about? A substantial proportion of apartments sell to residents in close proximity, in my experience. And you’re suggesting that we should just stick with the crappy old office space, rather than renewing?

              You’ve mistaken boring moaning for world-weary cynicism.
