Some More New York

BSWAM sent me these which I have been remiss in not posting. Time for some New York vibrancy. BSWAM says…Marriot-Marquis-Hotel
The horrendous Marriot Marquis Hotel, one of the city’s most hated buildings since 1983, when it replaced the Helen Hayes Theater. There used to be a revolving restaurant somewhere in this thing, but even that proved too whimsical for the management.

We’re in Times Square on St. Patrick’s Day! Why? Because we hate life!Rosie-O'Grady's
Here is the famous steakhouse Rosie O’Grady, looking rather squashed by recent arrivals.Yum!-1
Rosie’s can be a bit pricy, so it’s fortunate that so many other fine dining opportunities exist for the hungry tourist.Manny's
Much of the area is historic. And ugly.48th-Street
On the other hand, this is what they’re replacing it with.Lyceum-Theater
The Lyceum Theater, New York’s oldest operating venue and an oasis of elegance on its block.Box-Office-Sign
Or not.Rudy's-Music-Shop
Rudy’s Music Stop, since 1978. For how much longer, who knows?Times-Square
Vibrancy!
