I hear what you’re saying

Jason A. asks if the the pet Chinese eatery juxtaposition is kind of played and racist.? Well obviously. But my heart was warmed by the beautifully subtle cocos reflections and the relentless blue sky. Let’s appreciate it for that. Also Aunger car louvres. Talk about played.

  1. The horror, the horror. No doubt a two way trade. All that is missing is a ghost train.

Not to mention Dog Swamp. It’s a Win all round.

Wow, that building. Someone sat at a desk and desined that. Then someone else looked at the design and thought it good enough to turn into a building. Then someone built it. Horror enough in itself.

Could there be anything more PoVi than Aunger louvres? The Ford Telstar/Mazda 626 will be the next sought after item amongst those who march to a different, yet same.beat.

I don’t think it’s real. It looks like a movie set froma crappy detective drama from the 70’s.

Excellent worsting. Cocos reflection is a masterstroke. Or, this being Pert, a not entirely unexpected coincidence.

I look forward to the day when bearded chaps need more spacious family friendly transport than a fixie an have to resort to the 626, apollo and telstar.

I tend to think that by the time the location is called “dog swamp”, a vet visit is simply threading the funeral garland, as it were.

Dog swamp is a descriptor which refers to the once prevalent dingo.
Yokine – close suburb – is similarly named, the word being an aboriginal name for dog.
The name is frequently used pejoratively, but less so than the not-too-distant Innaloo ;)
