Outrage Sunday 113 Election 2013 In Memoriam

So. Farewell then
Kevin 07 Rudd
You are feeling blue
After covering your hands
In red.
“Programmatic Specificity”
Was your catchphrase:
“Get out”
Is everyone else’s.
Keith’s mum liked you
Until you had
A big tanty
At her school canteen.
Now you can
Spend more time
With your sauce bottle.

…….and, after all that painful process and immoral expenditure, the country still ends up electing a bunch of politicians.

“Abandon hope all ye who enter here” might have been a pertinent slogan to have posted at every polling booth.

    But, sheeple will be sheeple.

Excepting the few who, to the frustration of the booth managers – and no doubt those doing the counting, – carefully filled in every space ‘below the line’.

A NSWalian put it: ” I think they got everyone on there, but they forgot to put in the perforations.”

A good use for the spoiled votes, I suppose.

    As The Rudd slides
the latte sipping can run but it can’t hide
Its 1933 all over again, the Reichstag is on fire,
    best to avoid its ire,
