I’ve been to Amiens on Bastille Day. And Villers-Bretoneux and found a relatives’ grave at the Australian War Memorial.
The museum in Albert is almost TWOP worthy.
Also, its nowhere near Normandy.

not a sign of it. thousands (well it seemed like it) of war memorabilia, a lot of which seemed to be weapons. mostly rusty, in cabinets full of the same. tableaux set up in side cells of trenches, scenes of the way they lived. and the final section was a sound and light spectacle, how it might sound in the trenches.
no doubt bento remembers far more.
